Maybe not the best, but I use a weight clamp on the control arm (the main part running in towards the engine, not what I would call the strut rod section), and run an old submarine belt (crotch belt from a seatbelt harness) from there up to one of the upper control arm mounting bolts. It flexes under compression and is certainly strong enough to hold the weight of the LF suspension.
That set-up can certainly stretch or change over time, so I keep an eye on the measurement. Cheap and easy...no welding.
i welded a body tab on my lower and use a clamp on shock bracket clamped on the frame on the upper
If that stuff doesn't work, call Rocket and they will ship the whole assembly out to you. That's where I got my cable.
Some are adding a weight to the LF lower control arm 5-10# in addition to it.
...........Only if you get caught! LOL
I would think keeping applied tire load on the LF into the ground would only help. strapping it would keep it floating, there's just not enough weight to keep the car down on the LF. We are trying a few things with taller spring heights and stacking to keep the LF digging and helping turn the car. Jeremy Eibach Springs
