Has anyone used the small body RR with the dual spring setup?
yes i have one. it's decent, nothing magic. can't put rubbers in it so that sucks.
Do you notice any difference using it versus a single spring with spring rubbers?
Just set up a dual rate deal on a normal shock and copy their loads. Then you have the same thing and can add rubbers, if that's your normal thing to do.
Yes. On a slick bottom to top track with no cushion was where it was best. Keeping load in the RR spring off the corner was good. It's similar to chaining your RR so it stays in the spring except you aren't restricting the rear movement with the chain.
I just feel that you have to have a very specific track condition for it and unfortunately I don't get that very often where I race.
Also a smaller body shock will ultimately lose dampening quicker due to heat and less fluid volume than a larger body shock. So if you can achieve the same goals with a larger body shock you'll be better off.
