Early Entries Arriving for Magnolia State 100; Early Entry Deadline Oct. 3rd

Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100 October 8th-10th at Magnolia Motor Speedway Presented by Cooper’s Country Meat Packers

Columbus, Mississippi (09/30/15) – In a little over a week the annual Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100 will light up the southern sky at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi as the event will be held on Thursday-Saturday, October 8th-10th, 2015.

Early entries are arriving by the day and all indications point toward the 2015 edition of the mega-event once again drawing a star-studded field to the state-of-the-art, 3/8 mile oval. Super Late Model entries from more than twelve states have already been received with more arriving daily. Just some of the drivers already entered include Billy Moyer, Shane Clanton, Bub McCool, Steve Francis, Don O’Neal, Garrett Alberson, Riley Hickman, Billy Moyer Jr., Dennis Erb Jr., Jared Landers, Chris Simpson, Frank Heckenast Jr., Jason Feger, Morgan Bagley, Devin Moran, Matt Westfall, Chase Junghans, Wendell Wallace, Brian Rickman, Rick Rickman, Kyle Beard, Neil Baggett, and a host of others.

Super Late Model Competitors have until Saturday, October 3rd to file their early entry for the event. The early entry fee is $100. After this date, the entry fee will be $150. Competitors must file an early entry by mailing a check to Magnolia Motor Speedway, 495 Highway 45 South, Columbus, MS 39701 or competitors can give Johnny Stokes or any of his staff early entries.

The 2015 Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100 presented by Cooper’s Country Meat Packers will be headlined by a $20,000-to-win/$1,200-to-start, 100 lap Super Late Model event. Also in action will be NeSmith Late Models battling for $3,000-to-win, MSSS Street Stocks racing for $2,000-to-win, and Factory Stocks competing for $300-to-win on Saturday night ONLY.

Super Late Model Competitors have until Saturday, October 3rd to file their early entry for the event. The early entry fee is $100. After this date, the entry fee will be $150. Super Late Model Tire Rule: Must Punch 44 : Hoosier: 1350, Spec 21, Crate Racing D21, Lucas 03 and American Racer 48. NO TOLERANCE. Must Punch 60 : Hoosier: 1600, Spec 55, Crate Racing D55, Lucas 06 and American Racer 56. NO TOLERANCE.

Super Late Model Purse 1- $20,000, 2- $10,000, 3- $5,000, 4- $4,000, 5-$3,000, 6- $2,500, 7- $2,000, 8- $1,800, 9- $1,700, 10- $1,600, 11- $1,500, 12- $1,400, 13- $1,300, 14-24 $1,200.

NeSmith Late Models will also be in action battling for year $3,000-to-win/$200-to-start with a $100.00 Entry Fee. Magnolia Motor Speedway Rules Apply.

NeSmith Late Model Purse 1- $3,000, 2- $1,500, 3- $800, 4- $700, 5-$600, 6- $500, 7- $450, 8- $350, 9- $325, 10- $300, 11- $275, 12- $250, 13- $225, 14-24 $200.

The MSSS Street Stock division will be headlined by a $2,000-to-win/$100-to-start with a $75.00 Entry Fee. Magnolia Motor Speedway Rules Apply.
MSSS Street Stock Purse 1- $2,000, 2- $1,000, 3- $600, 4- $500, 5-$400, 6- $300, 7- $275, 8- $250, 9- $225, 10- $200, 11-24 $100.

The Factory Stock division will be in action SATURDAY NIGHT ONLY as they compete for $300-to-win Saturday Night ONLY.

Factory Stock Purse 1- $300, 2- $150, 3- $100, 4- $90, 5-$80, 6- $70, 7- $60, 8-24- $40.

Open practice begins Thursday night, October 8th at 7:00 PM for all divisions.

Friday night will see preliminary action for the Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100 as Super Late Models qualify and run heat races as they attempt to make the feature field. NeSmith Late Models will also qualify and run heat races. MSSS Street Stocks will also run their heats.

B-Mains for all divisions will be contested on Saturday night along with Factory Stocks Heat Races and the Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100 Championships Main Event Races.
