ULMS Doubleheader at Big Diamond and Port Royal on Deck

INDIANA, Pa. (05/02/22) – Gregg Satterlee continued his great start to the 2022 campaign with a Friday night victory at Pennsylvania’s Bedford Speedway. His Billy Wynn Classic triumph was worth $12,086 aboard his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Keyser Manufacturing/ Valvoline/ Classic Ink/ XR1 Rocket Chassis / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.

The victory marked his third of the 2022 season.

“It was another great night for our team. We started fast off the trailer, and then in the feature I had to bide my time but got to the lead late in the race,” Satterlee shared. “Thank you to everyone who supports our team. We are looking forward to racing at Big Diamond (Speedway) and Port (Royal Speedway) this coming weekend.”

Gregg Satterlee made the short trip to Bedford (Pa.) Speedway Friday afternoon to enter his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Late Model into the battle for the annual Billy Winn Classic.

After topping the 31-car field in time trials, Satterlee secured his spot into the main event with a heat win. Overtaking race-leader Jeff Rine on lap 38 amid traffic, Gregg raced to the $12,086 payday ahead of Trever Feathers, Matt Cosner, Rine, and Drake Troutman. The win marked his third of the 2022 campaign.

The team now looks ahead to a Zimmer’s United Late Model Series (ULMS) doubleheader in Pennsylvania this weekend – May 6-7. A $3,500 winner’s check is on the line on Friday night at Big Diamond Speedway (Forestville, Pa.), while a $4,000 top prize is on the line Saturday at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway.
