More room for the shock... less damage to the top.
Less harmonics and straighter compression.
Barrels allow for a lighter wire material and less coils versus the linear coil over. Creates a faster and more consistent reaction. Jeremy Queener Eibach Motorsports
Are guys running them on all four corners? Seen most on the right front
On rear shocks, be aware that you could end up with some interference issues if you run a piggy-back canister. I say on rear because those are the piggy backs that the canister is typically parallel with the shock itself. We had an issue once on the LR with an Ohlins shock. I noticed the new Integras have the canister spaced out quite a bit. Probably for this reason.
Matt 49is correct! Just found my Ohlins canister is very close to rubbing the hyperco 16" barrel. It is a piggyback.
