The Lavonia Speedway Has Been Forced To Cancell Due To Heavy Rain (6/7/13)

LAVONIA SPEEDWAY CANCELLED TONIGHT! Because of the tremendous rains in the area Lavonia Speedway has been rained out tonight. Its rained almost 10 inches since last Saturday. Everything in the pits is flooded. The put road outside is washed out. We have fixed it twice this week and it rains again. Plus the weather forecast is not favorable to say the least.

Lavonia Speedway will be back in action next Friday night with the WINGED SPRINT CARS PLUS $1000 TO WIN PROLATE MODEL FEATURE.

The three classes that were scheduled to run "double features" from the sudden rain last weekend will actually do their "double features on June 21st along with the KMSA Touring Series. With the sprint cars coming next week and expecting a packed house, there just isn't enough time to do both in one night. We do not want to keep everyone there until 1:00 AM so all the double features will be run on KMSA weekend June 21.

Don't forget tomorrow night at Toccoa Speedway will host the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series. It will be the series first time in the area in 2013. Local Casey Roberts was champion in 2012 and currently the points leader in 2013. The ULTIMATE Series is coming back from a fantastic show in Ripley WV two weeks ago and as one reporter stated "its in the top 5 races on all time". The shows have been incredible everywhere the teams go.
