That's about as crazy of a summer nationals schedule as you will probably ever see; but I like it.
It's spread out.
I see the week of Springfield & Clarksville there are 3 open dates.
Personally I think it would be cool to see Lee County Speedway or 34 Raceway in Iowa take the night before Springfield & Legit Speedway Park in West Plains, MO take the date after Springfield.
Charleston Speedway in Illinois would be a good date for the Sunday after Clarksville.

Surprised there isn't more chatter about it considering it was just talked about within the last few days
Davenport gets a date!!! Love it!!!
totally ridiculous schedule
Love the schedule but part of me thinks they are doing this so they get more Dirtvision revenue. I won't be watching the MI races in August, those tracks are generally not very racey.
I'm guessing the days aren't just built in for rain but also because of the uncertainty still. I'm guessing in 2022 it would go back to the original format
I agree. I live ten minutes north of Thunderbird and go their a good bit. It’s usually hit or miss. I went to Tri-city for the first time last summer and it was terrible. I will not go back their. In my eyes I-96 has the best racing in the state.
Merritt got new clay last fall so I am Interested to see if it will race any better. The only good race I have seen up their was two summer’s ago when Izzo prepped the track.
Pour one out for Belle-Clair. I guess I won't get my $25 back from 2018.
I don't think I would judge a place by just going there once.
Plenty of racing is always good. Just wonder how many drivers will follow the whole schedule. Wonder what winner gets?
well let me start by saying i have been going to the summernationals since they started would love this to be a big success, but its not the summernationals anymore they might as well rename it and make into regular national touring series because that is what it is with a schedule like this. the only ones following the tour was the guy with point lead the last few years. hell with this schedule the champion might not even attend every race. my guess is some of these shows will be mostly locals racing with the point leader.
Can't argue with that assessment Mike. As long as I've got a summer full of weekly racing to go to, I'm tickled. Yes, guys following for points has gone down the last few years but the car counts are still strong and the racing has been good. That's all I ask for and I'm happy .
