2016 ULTIMATE Rookie Of The Year Glenn Elliott Announces His Retirement

CARNESVILLE, GA – The 2016 ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series South East Region Rookie of the Year and Championship Runner-Up Glenn Elliott has announced his retirement from racing to pursue other activities. ULTIMATE Officials wish him all of best in his future endeavors.

“We really enjoyed having Glenn Elliott as a regular during the 2016 ULTIMATE SE season, and we will miss having him and his race team with us in the future,” FASTRAK/ULTIMATE Founder and CEO Stan Lester said. “We also appreciate the effort Glenn and his team made to compete in a basically Southern-based series with their team being based in Maryland. That kind of dedication is admirable.”

Elliott’s dedication led to a second-place finish in the final point standings and Rookie of the Year honors during the 2016 season with the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series South East Region. ULTIMATE SE Director Kelley Carlton got to know Elliott and his crew well during the course of the 2016 racing season.

“We wish Glenn Elliott all of the best in his retirement and all of his future endeavors,” Carlton said. “He had a great season last year, and I guess he felt it was time to leave the sport with the honors he earned last season. We will miss having him at our events in the future, and we hope he will remain a fan and come and visit us at the race track.”
