I have a brand new 17" Butlerbuilt Advantage prolite II with the right extension and bolt on headreast. Bolted it in the car and it wouldn't clear the goofy sideways shifters in my bloomquist car. I did notch the leg extension to clear the shifters and still couldn't reach them with the wheel on and strapped in
Paid $1500 for it. Will take $1200. Again all I did was notch the leg extension and drilled three holes in it to bolt it in.
