Whats the best way to check if my housing is bent without pulling it out?
I always used the axle and the floater drive plate..... If the axle is in a bind with the hub...... or not centered in the floater snout...... it's bent somewhere....
Put the rear end on jack stands with the wheels on it and spin the housing and watch the wheels
My left axle will not go in. But if i swap the drive flanges then the right one wont go in. If i loosen the flange so that it has a little movement in it then the axle slides right in. Is this a common problem with aluminum drive flange?
