As a member of the National Motorsports Press Association I have a vote for the Richard Petty Driver of the Year. Normally, this award is a rubber stamp for the NASCAR champion but I'm casting my vote for Jimmy Owens.

Kyle Larson, hands down, was the best race car driver in the country.
Jimmy Owens. Larson caused a big wreck in the truck series taking out Ryan Blaney
28 wins in everything on 4 wheels. If not for a late caution, he would have won the very truck race you refer to. He didn't take Blaney out, Austin Dillon came down on Larson. Blaney was the innocent victim.Quote:
