More oil take the restrictors out if you have them in check to make sure they're oiling good while the engine is running
I have had it idling with the valve covers off and there is enough oil to completely fill each rocker
What the weight of the oil and whats the Oil temp?
It's 20w50 valvoline vr1 synthetic I don't have an oil temp gauge so not sure on temp
Either install a stud girdle or oil deflector (Speedway Item # 54567700) to get more oil on your balls.
do you have restrictors? you cant run them with ball type rockers
Do you have solid or hydraulic lifters?
Solid and its restricted with a single .150 restrictor
Just thought I would let you guys know we got the issue fixed we welded deflector tabs on the rockers above the oil holes.
restrictors are for full roller rockers since they don't need as much oil to cool
They're never "needed" if the block is prepped correctly regardless of lifter or rocker configuration.
Some guys have fixed this issue by using un-grooved rocker arm balls...
We installed them along with welding on the tabs
un grooved were worse when I had to run this type
