The scales were off at EAMS. My sportsman car weighed 2475 when I left my shop. I put 5 gallons of fuel in at the track and weighed 2425. Added a 50lb chunk of lead after that and was still 20lbs light. Finally added another 20lb weight and filled the fuel cell to the rim before I was heavy enough. I wasn't the only one. Another sportsman car had to add 100lbs when he got there to make weight.
It did pay a purse of some kind and does it.have to pay to be certified
