Six races in three days for FASTRAK Triple Crown; over $42k in purse money

Officials with the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance have announced an exciting change in the FASTRAK Triple Crown format for 2019. The 2019 FASTRAK Triple Crown will now have six feature races in three days at Friendship Motor Speedway and Beckley Motorsports Park. The FASTRAK Triple Crown Champion will be the driver with the most points through the six feature races.

On Friday, May 24th the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will run two $1,500 to win 20-lap features at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, NC. Saturday, May 25th will see two $1,500 to win 20-lap features at Beckley Motorsports Park. The FASTRAK Triple Crown will conclude on Sunday, May 26th at Friendship Motor Speedway with two $2,500 to win 25-lap features. Each night, the FASTRAK Pro Late Models will qualify with their first lap applied to the first feature and their second lap applied to the second feature. Heat races and B-Mains will be ran for each of the features.

“We have only been able to get in one FASTRAK Racing Series race so far this year because of weather,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “This will give us the chance to come out of the weekend with seven points races on the year. It will also provide more racing for the fans.”

Each of the FASTRAK Triple Crown races will count as two towards qualification for the members-only 2019 FASTRAK World Challenge. Members must compete in a minimum of 10 FASTRAK races, weekly or touring, to be eligible to compete in the FASTRAK World Challenge, scheduled for October 3rd – 5th at Beckley Motorsports Park.
