Back to normal without the Super Bowl in Tampa
The World of Outlaw release contains the following quote:“Dirt racing in Florida is going to be bigger and better than ever at the start of 2022,” said Brian Carter, World of Outlaws and DIRTcar CEO. “Demonstrating our commitment to our fans and drivers, we’ve coordinated with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series so there is no overlap of events, allowing fans to enjoy the best Late Model drivers in the world battle throughout Florida on a weekly basis from January to February.Is this an indication that the two organizations might work together on scheduling throughout the year?
With the Lucas schedule, I suppose we're seeing a glimpse into future scheduling when East Bay goes away - one weekend at GIS, a couple of nights at Bubba, another weekend at All-Tech.
Hendry County down by Lake Okeechobee
Hendry is the Southern most dirt track in the. U.S. Also Putnam County Speedway about half way between Jacksonville and Orlando in Satsuma, FL. Not sure if any of these track could handle a Lucas Oil Series race though. Hendry has a couple of U.S.C.S Sprint Car events each year.
