North Wilkesboro permanently converted to a dirt track and hosting annual NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series events may well come to pass.
5/8 mile.
As far as cup.. it’s just too gimmicky. For late models and sprints it’s a bit of fun once every 20 or so years. That’s my two cents.
^^^^You got enough to last the week? You're short on sense as it is. ✌😁
He cant flyboy cus hes full of gibberish & hog wash!🤭🤭

Flysb0y "LOVES" him some ZERO bar occasionally 😘
Yes. Bloomquist is still the goat. Still the greatest Dirt Late model driver ever to exist 👍
As much as I'd like to think this will propel dirt racing and increase the fanbase, purses and overall interest, history says it won't.
When the Outlaws ran at Bristol in the early 2000's (on LIVE at that), it was supposed to propel dirt racing forward with a larger fanbase, bigger purses and more interest by large corporations/sponsorships.
Here we are almost 20 years later and guess what?
Purses remained stagnant (and when you account for inflation have probably decreased)
LIVE TV actually went away for many, many years only to be replaced by streaming (that unless you search it out, you don't know it exists, so no new eyeballs watching)
car counts and the fanbase haven't grown (I'd say if anything car counts and the fanbase have decreased across all divisions of motorsport the past 20 years as the fanbase ages).
as far as sponsorships go, have they grown? watching the cars and teams it doesn't seem to me that it has.
Is it a positive? Yes.
Will it propel dirt racing to the masses and create huge growth? remains to be seen, but typically you can learn the answer by studying history.
