Topless Outlaw Late Model Series This Saturday At Mountain View Raceway

SPRING CITY, TN – The Topless Outlaw Dirt Late Model Series will compete in a $3,000-to-win 40-lap Shootout this Saturday night at Mountain View Raceway. Several track sponsors have teamed up to let the track offer fans a $5 ticket in the Grandstand and Tier Parking for the second straight week.

Along with the Topless Outlaw Late Models, the Mountain View Raceway Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modifieds, B-Hobby, Thunder and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions will also be in action this Saturday night on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval.

Leading the Topless Outlaw entry list is point leader Austin Neely of New Tazewell, TN. Neely has tuned up for Saturday night’s event with a win in Weekly racing action at Mountain View Raceway a few weeks ago. John Ownbey of Cleveland, TN has two wins this season at Mountain View Raceway, and Karl Tipton of Gilbert, AZ has also visited the track’s Victory Lane.

Other Topless Outlaw entrants expected at Mountain View Raceway this Saturday night include Cory Hedge(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) of Loudon, TN, Roger Best of Maryville, TN, Matt Henderson of Loudon, TN, the father-son duo of Randy and Cameron Weaver of Crossville, TN, Brad Lowe of Knoxville, TN, and the defending Late Model Champion at Mountain View Raceway Barry Goodman of Spring City, TN.

Mountain View Raceway Weekly Division point leaders going into Saturday night are David Doss of Cleveland, TN in Sportsman, David Peak of Evensville, TN in Beginner Sportsman, Travis Sietsema of Crossville, TN in Open-Wheel Modified, Johnny Hughes of Graysville, TN in B-Hobby, Clayton Forsyth of Crossville, TN in Thunder, and Nick Adams of Crossville, TN in Front-Wheel-Drive.

The Mountain View Raceway Turn One Kid’s Zone will have plenty of activity with Face Painting all night long, photo ops in Victory Lane, photo ops in the Flag Stand from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and there will be a drawing for a youngster to wave the Green Flag on a Feature Race.

On Saturday at Mountain View Raceway, the Pit Gate opens at 3 p.m., and the Grandstand/Tier Parking Gates opens at 4 p.m. Pre-Race Technical Inspection and Registration will be from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the Drivers Meeting is set for 5:45 p.m., with Racing scheduled for 6 p.m.

Pit Passes are $25 for Adults, $15 for Children 6-12, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. The Special Fan Appreciation General Admission and Tier Parking ticket prices are $5 for race fans 12 and older, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free.
