Good discussion. I agree with most of what you said. The little improvement, I don't pay for those though. I do those myself. There are still things wrong with the cars, where bigger gains can be found than with the latest shock everyone else can buy. If you can keep the aero and solve the suspension crutches used to get the aero, you go faster.
THAT was a hell of a race. Well done for everyone.
Marlar is (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) good
Larson should go home. He is getting beat every night by Americas finest dirt late model drivers
Bobby Pearce is kicking some booty
Very impressive on quickly Bobby Pierce has adapted to the Longhorn Chassis. Real good indication of a intelligent racer. I suspect Pierce is going to be difficult to outrun in 2023.
Good point on Pierce.
Outstanding racing, especially the last three nights. GOOD CLEAN racing by all competitors.
Larson got beat every night ❤️ get back to NASCAR Kyle
I would say JD , Pierce, Marlar, and Kyle Larson have a good handle on the Longhorn chassis. Brandon Sheppard ?
The #26F of Cole Farmer,a local racer from just up the road from me,almost knocked Sheppard out of a transfer position in their heat Saturday night. There was a last lap caution and Shep was able to get around him after the restart. I would've liked to have seen if Cole could've held him off.
Now Sheppard did have to come from the back, but they raced several laps side by side.
I can't wait to see Larson run the Indy 500. I think the plans are for 2024. He didn't win out west but, he sure was right there many nights.
Larson will be up to speed at Indy in no time flat IMO. He will have a car that can win, and he can certainly win it. Problem is that Indy is a lot of luck most of the time. However, I am glad he is going to run it. I would like to see Kyle Busch get a shot at it too sometime.
