I think Redd has started a new southern tradition for Speedweeks.
And I agree, better get some more grandstands from somewhere.

Kelley,
Looking like Mother Nature will have a say this week, both at Screven and Golden Isles. Is Redd a gambler or is he prone to quickly pull the plug? Don't want to make a long ride to view the scenery!
i can remember one race last year it came a frog strangler(real heavy rain for non-southerners lol), and within the hour the cars were back on the track racing and turned out to be a great night of racing as usual for Redd and the crew. knock on wood but a little rain will do nothing but help the racing surface for the night!!! i'm almost thinking of taking off thursday too and coming for practice wednesday, it can't get here fast enough!!
Yep, I want to say that was the Ray Cook race. Could not believe they got it in.
Folks, already seen a #83 sprint at the hotel @ 95, so the cars are already rolling in. They had 2 of them out on the street. Had all the folks breaking their neck looking.
I can't wait! Mothernature, please spare us.
Kelley/Redd,
Any chance y'all could move the start time of this race up to 6 instead of 7? That would give ya another hour to get this race in with the high probability of rain. Most people, locals at least and not those going to all of Speedweeks, have to work on Friday. We'll be getting home late enough as it is. I can't count the times I've been to a race, they get most of it in, then rain comes before the feature.
I understand if ya can't move the start time since it's been advertised etc but at the least start time trials at 7 on the dot. Please don't lollygag this thing out and start time trials at 730 or 8 because the track was too wet, waiting on cars, fans, etc.
I've seen both of you guys run great, fast shows before. Please do it again this Thursday.
There are only two classes running , no support groups, so it should rumble on w great speed.
For anybody that has ever banged on to many support classes,
this is the Ultimate Show, really TWO features of the top drivers in the country
in the two top classes, on the same night.
The recipe is there for a real Classic.
There should be NO REASON to miss this one..!
