Transponder loops at dirt tracks are almost never directly at the flagstand, for various logistical reasons.
Transponders dont lie.
EPJ won it but that picture is a little confusing to me though.
Does the flagman has his back to track looking up at the
tower,caution flag in out ?
Might just be my old eyes cant see any more.

Earl got a gift... The 11 car clearly crossed the line first!
When there seems to be a close finish at the line. Most of the time the win seems to go to the series regular.
They ain't gonna "fukk" there own by golly...
It was definitely close.. and we are splitting hairs.. but the problem with that photo it appears the camera man was on the turn one side of the flag stand shooting back toward the flag stand. If he is 5 yards to the right it would be a different look. Photos can be deceiving at times. But wow was it close.
I feel the right call was made. Man, the amount of ground Josh Rice made up in 3 and 4 is insane. He drove the wheels off that car!! Hopefully tonight will be just as good!
Pearson by a nose . . . an entire nose!
By the numbers......if they were going 90mph at the finish line......Earl won by .26 feet!
Yeah, where is the flag man? the guy standing up there is facing toward the crowd and not holding a flag.
