Besides Bshepp, there’s not an Illinois boy capable of winning it.

Hahahahahaha and some dagum more!!!! ^^^^^^
If the DTWC was at a better track, more Illinois guys would go... like Shannon Babb... who has 2 DTWC’s
No argument with the above comment.
Realistically this race has been dominated by 3 guys since being at PRP. If there were betting odds, I would take Sheppard, Overton Richards, Overton vs the field next weekend.
I’d really like to see the DTWC at somewhere like Port Royal.
I’d like to see the DTWC at a place that none of the front runners have many laps at and that neither national tour visits during the year. Maybe VMS?
Today's car at the reopened WVMS could be really interesting. I think the speed alone would be unforgettable.
WVMS will be fast, but I don’t think modern cars are going to race well at all. They have aero push issues making it hard to pass on 1/4 miles. Higher speeds are only going to accentuate the problem.
And as MBR said, it’s gonna be a motor killer, especially when it has tack. It was killing motors under the last ownership group, that’s why they tried to shorten it, and they didn’t have anywhere near the downforce back then as they do know.
Seems like passing is a premium at places like Port Royal. Wouldn't that be the case similar to wvms?
They plan to bank wvms even more.

I’d either go back to Atomic, Brad is no Schrader (whatever his first name was), WVMS, or I dunno. Really needs to stay in the Mid Ohio Valley.

I think Atomic is a perfect fit. Also dont have it sanctioned make it UMP like the World 100 or Dream that way you will see more cars would probably be around 90 if it was just like it was in 2006 and 2007. Also maybe do it where it is a 1 day show for the late models on Saturday and make the modifieds a 1 day show on Friday Maybe add late model hotlaps between the B-Mains of the mods on Friday and then on Saturday hotlap and qualify and run heats consis and feature for the late models.
