He was that way last year too. A lot of those races he won, he was doing just enough to win. He had a lot more in the tank. Lap times tell the story.
Shame such costly caution and no clue why Moran didn't go back up top. I wouldn't bang the Overton drum too loud. They had great year last year but repeat is almost impossible as shown by JD.
yes they do. I read an article where they were using used tires while winning some of those big races. crazy!
You can tell Overton isn’t even driving the car hard. I think it was during the dream last year where you could watch his car do the same thing. Looked like he was going half speed and still pulling away from guys.
Buford T. Justice (aka The Kentucky Colonel) is in hot-persuit of Bandit Overton and is gonna get that sumb**ch!! To quote the Colonel, "What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law."
Them doing their own thing with their Longhorns and being on Penske shocks instead of Bilsteins like the rest is a big advantage. Kudos to them!
Lol worthy my man…… thanks for that visual.
Overton is a bad a,ss…..attitude and all, nice to see a respectful group of young men coming up through the sport lead by the 76 literally and figuratively right now.
I know it's just the first of the season, but it looks like it might be a long year again, for everybody that's running against the "Overton Express".
Not beatable. Period. Just plays with competition. Eldora million will give him a 2 million dollar year. LOL
He has certainly done a number on Kyle Larson. 😁
Sad but True; Larcy doesen't seem to have that little bit extra this season so far...
No doubt Overton is a good driver but isn't he really just producing the same results and wins that Eric Wells did in the same car before he stepped into it ........bahahahahaha
I told y’all the day it was announced he was teaming with Wells, it was going to be a lethal pairing. I didn’t expect it to be this lethal though. The one thing that’s always stood out to me, since I started watching him locally in 2013, is his patience. I can’t even guess how many times I’ve watched him win races in which he didn’t get the lead until the final ten laps or so. He never forces anything. He just takes his time, watches what’s going on around him, study’s the track and when it’s time to go, he’s gone.
Terry nailed it.
i say he wins 23 races this yearhe is the best by far
