Looked pretty stout in that Baldwin LS engine last night at 411. He keeps saying he hasnt been in the late model since the Dream, I've watched him at Fairbury,Davenport, and Eldora since then??!! Also says they have a cool announcement coming up.

I think he meant the World.
Nick will figure the late model out just has he did the modified, thought he might really save the Bloomquist chassis but would guess he may have to do something on his own.
Rumor on Social Media is he could be moving to Bowyer.
Anyone know ballpark cost of LS engine compared to the higher end motor? $30k vs $50k?
Then we're does kid rocket end up ? He's burned bridges in the past. Or does team rocket run 2 cars, 1 on woo and 1 on lucas. I don't see that playing out, but you never no.
What bridges ? He's not getting his seat back in the house car because of a guy named brandon sheppard. He was in the ride that Best provided. Wins a championship then goes downhill faster than anyone could imagine. So, if Bowyer does replace him, where does he go ? Has anyone seen his performance in the 14, yes they have a crew chief issue. The only person that will get him a top ride is his dad, and that won't last long because he will fall off just like he has in the past.
Isn't Sheppy going elswhere next year? I heard that's a possibility on the One to Go podcast.
I would be curious if Sheppard would ever go back to the family car since his kids are getting older. I know that sounds crazy especially leaving the Rocket ride. Makes no sense I know but, could he get backing from Mark and Steve at Rocket along with a few good sponsors of his own.
Makes all the sence in the world to choose your kids over the Rocket1...
Just sayin' ...
And said very well I might add.
I hope Scott hits on some stuff and starts winning, but most of all I hope he’s having some fun while he’s doing it his way.
Did any of you read the interview of Nick Hoffman in the last issue of Dirt Empire Magazine ? It was a great interview that gave a lot of insight into how Nick thinks and strives for now. I received the Dirt Empire Mag last week, so you all should have it now or soon.
As mod Runner said, get your hands on the latest issue of Dirt Empire Magazine. Great articles on both Nick Hoffman and Tim McCreadie.
This thread is funny. Silly season is almost here. Lets just say, there will be some shake ups then.
His wife was from Ohio and they relocated closer to her home so Best fit them perfectly. They met while Josh ran Nascar for a couple years and she worked for Richard Childress racing. Josh's stint in Nascar trucks was backed by Joy Mining but that went away and he ran the next season in rent a ride cars back by a Veteran's organization. So Nascar and his wife have dictated his path since the Rocket 1 days.
Some put drivers on pedestals and think they do no wrong. Big dollar owners and sponsorship are not lined up for anyone.
I'm excited to see what Nick Hoffman plans are for next year. He's pretty bad a-- in the modified. It seems like more he's in the Bloomquist car the better he's getting in it.
Hoffman is top notch, and with an ego that's top notch too.
Hoffman quote from the DoD article after 411. "I'm just a half @ss modified racer trying to make it in a Late Model world"
Like really? Who's he trying to fool.
You gotta respect a "kid" that builds winning racecars in his dads 3 car garage!
IIRC, he was one of the first to build mods with aero in mind!
