This place is awful. The desert isn’t as dusty as this place
I have yet to figure out why they have supposedly one of the most prestigious dirt race is at this location. It is a (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) hole
They should have moved the race away from that place a long time ago. Even though the racing at Atomic isn't always great either it's better than PRP.
Hey Carl shorts cutting his own throat keeping that race there. There’s got to be a point in which people are like , I’m not going back to that Dusty dump.
Heats were run during the day, what did you expect? Now if tonight's track is dusty as today, that is a different story.
Sheppard and Ferguson have been dq'd for there teams fighting in the pits
Fergy is listed in the A main lineup on DoD.
How many support divisions is there.
Anybody know what happened? They were in same heat so that moves 2 more up that didn't qualify. Lucky for them
Fergy is listed as starting fourth in the A main on DoD. Lucas tweeted Sheppard starting 5th in a Bmain. DoD doesn't have any B main lineups posted on their site. Says TBD. Hmmm
There both dqd per Lucas announcers on mavtv. Something happened in the common area of the pits steming from the heat race.
Seems as though Lucas Oil would want what I assume is their marquee event at Lucas Oil speedway.
There is a story on DoD on Dirtwire about Sheppy and Fergy's DQs, but I can't see it. That might give more insight into what happened.
Per dod; after the heat race mark Richards on his pit bike rode up by Fergusons car near scales and gave him a gesture and one of Fergys crew guys on a 4 wheeler cut mark off and pinned him some how then started to stomp his azz. Then other crew members from both sides I believe came in to join. Chris said mark pulled on his window net when he first came up.
Went back and watched there heat race (from what i could see on MavTv with all the dust) and can't figure out how lap 1 turned into hand gestures, punches and DQ's. Seemed like two drivers going for the same high line at the start and not enough room.
Dod stated it came from heat race. May b something went south between Chris & mark when he switched to bloomer chassis
Didnt fergy just get into a fight with another driver recently, watch out for richards, he always packs heat
Has to be or just spur of the moment thing, because i've seen hand gestures given many times and never seen it go into punches.
RTJ wins....
Top 5 finishers were all Longhorn chassis: Thornton Jr, Overton, Davenport, Marler, and McCreadie
good for sales 🤘 up!
Where did Bobby finish?
I guess if you don’t like the place don’t come. There will still be campers and a packed house next year. Oh and the dust? If I remember right cars hit the track at 2pm today. Go watch nascar or something
Move it to pennsboro and start racing at noon.
Same thing different year. Only reason anyone is there is it pays $100k and it's Lucas Oil series. 3-4 others on the undercard bring in people also.
i hope its a big weekly salary!! how long is his contract, if you know?
In AGEEMENT ! ! Richards hopefully found out tonight that he cant manipulate and act as lord and master in the Lucas series as he does in WoO. They aren't going to take his crap. Sheppard not being there was good in that it meant 1 less inferior Rocket getting in the way of the highly superior Longhorn units that dominated this event.
so, if he gets a sponsor, lets say HOKER, does that $$ go to the car also?
