Fayetteville speedway NC.....was packed Saturday night.
had one person sitting in the top row of the stands tell me I was too close to them when I walked up from the pits to watch from the observation deck......which I wasn't within 6 feet anyway, woman just wanted to be in charge.
Amazing what a dollar store tape measure will do to measure " in charge" stupidity when you show someone what 6 feet away looks like ....not another peep from her the whole night and got a few thumbs up from people sitting around her all night that had to hear her crap prior to us walking up.
Track personnel worked their butts off to provide a great opening night experience IMO.
As racey as I've ever seen it......in every class.
And then the lights of the city went out and we couldn't see anything.
That thing is going to be a gem before its all said and done with.
Needmore GA and tazwell TN.
I went to both. The taz was just a 3k to win crate show. We're heading back to watch the southern nats race next weekend. I dont know how they'll get many more people in that place. Same with needmore, there wasn't a empty seat or a place to stand there.
I THINK most of all tracks in Tennessee and Georgia are open.
Tazwell posted pics on their Facebook from last night.
Many Missouri tracks, with limited spectators at this point.
Talladega Short Track, will have practice this Saturday then we get busy on June 6!

Cherokee allowed fans Saturday. Temp checks at entry but otherwise pretty normal.
Tracks in Wisconsin are opening. I went to Slinger Speedway (asphalt) Sunday. 1200 person limit.
All tracks in Tennessee.
Wisconsin - Mississippi Thunder had USMTS this past weekend and I was at Cedar Lake Saturday night. Felt great to be back at the track.
Pretty sure Carolina Speedway ran last night and fans were allowed. Gastonia NC !
What about West Virginia tracks?
Potomac speedway budds creek md. Raced Sunday with fans
Both Thunderhill and Duck River in Tennessee ran over the Holiday Weekend with packed Stands and Pits! awesome
Hagerstown, Md this coming weekend
Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney S.C. ran this past Saturday and Sunday with 50% fans. The funny thing about this is nobody knows what 50% is there. It has never been told how many fans have been to a race there in one night, or how many track could hold.
I believe that this track and maybe others do not want you to know how many fans are in attendance. For whatever reason. And I know some of the reasons.
Im sure the owners/promotors know what there numbers are to start with.
https://www.facebook.com/10000088267...8080501231342/ Lincoln speedway Monday night
The Owners and promotors know the numbers. Everybody knows that. The main reason I can think of that they don't want you to know is, because they do not want u to know how much money they are making......period.
Why can't these tracks post how many tickets were sold? That's all I'm asking. Wether it be 100 or 10,000.
It's just concrete bleachers man. No way to count. But how do they determine 50%. Half the concrete is full is my guess. I would just like to know how many is there....................Maybe it's like the question how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop.............the world may never know...........
Friendship Speedway NC welcoming fans Saturday night.
Big 2 day Southern Clash show this weekend at Alltech!
It will be the 3rd race with fans since this ridiculous liberal hoax!
Count one section, get as accurate as you can, but remember there's kids, people in the bathroom, whatever so don't labor yourself to death. Just get close.
Then multiply that number by the amount of sections. That's how a promoter counts a crowd. You'll be really close to the track's count. The number that you come up with will be way, way less than you think. It would be hard to do on a video feed. I count the crowd every time I go to a race if I'm not racing myself or helping a buddy and I have time to. It would be a Beyoch to do at like Eldora or Knoxville or something but it's easy at a typical Saturday night track with only a couple sections of bleachers.
Alabama has fort Payne hollis North Alabama all racing with fans
