I always thought of the Best Motorsports car as the "other" Rocket house car.
Belongs to Twarog
Is this one of Moran's cars if Twarog owns it? Seems strange that Moran was not at Eldora and Erb was driving a Twarog car.
After seeing the results from last night you better be in a Longhorn if you want to run up front at the Million/Dream.
Morans cars are both at longhorn getting clipped
As Dlmfan stated, Moran hit the wall hard at WVMS Sunday, both of his cars are currently in North Carolina.
Tye Twarog is a longhorn dealer, there are cars being assembled in West Virginia. (BMJ, Marlar, Terbo, and others have been built right here).
To my understanding, Terbo's longhorn car is an Eldora car only.
The way Erb looked last night he maybe should have unloaded that longhorn at Brownstown as well.
Thought he was going to take Davenport out, When JD tried to lap him. He needs to calm down.
And he’s back into the Rocket for the rest of the week.
Longhorn certainly is the flavor of the day when it comes to drivers switching brands. Hard not to look at the success of Overton, JD, TMac, Kyle Larson and few others and not have others trying chase what seems to be the hottest hot ticket. Based on how Longhorns performed at Eldora last year, I can see why you'd want to take one there. It is a very good product. Those four in particular are some good car salesmen, but they come from some exceptional race teams as well.
Now it is still early in the year but I'm watching some drivers who made the switch over the last off season and while I watch them this year I'm seeing pretty much - no attributable difference in how they are running now compared to what part of the pack they ran in before they made the change. Just something to keep an eye on through the season.
Someone who has upped his game a little would be Ashton Winger. I think his jump into the 89 has made him a little better this season.
longhorns and rockets are winning every Saturday night somewhere in the country……they both have a good group of salesmen that drive them on a national level.
I like that they have the chassis rivalry between them.
It was definitely Rocket night at Lincoln tonight.
The sport is definitely a two horse race right now with Rocket and Longhorn, especially on the national stage. You hear very little anymore about Barry Wright, Black Diamond, Mastersbuilt, and MB Customs cars. I am sure those chassis brands are winning some races on the local and regional levels, but not on the national tours like LOLMS, WOOLMS and XR.
There were some fast Swartz cars out there a couple years ago but you almost neevr see those anymore.
Nobody wants to work on there stuff. Just go and buy whatever's fast
I think Terbo said he is done with the Longhorn?
