went through this a few years back everybody talking how much weight could be saved changed every bolt on car over 5/16 well over 1000 bucks in bolts weighed all bolts took out weighed 18 lbs ? nowhere near the 40lbs weight savings everyone saidQuote:

Don't know about bolts but Gorsuch sells a set of 20 titanium lug nuts for $250. How much weight does that save? A couple of ounces? I'd rather buy a new tire and a nice steak and lobster dinner out...as long as it's not takeout.
