King Of The Crates 50 Postponed By Rain At North Alabama Speedway

TUSCUMBIA, AL – Rain has postponed the $3,000-to-win 4th Annual King of the Crates 50 for the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series on Saturday night at North Alabama Speedway. Track and Series officials will be announcing a make-up date in the coming days.

Rain began to fall at North Alabama Speedway just after the Opening Ceremonies as the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Late Models were preparing for Boyd Built Fabricators Group Qualifying. Officials waited to see if the shower would pass through the area, but Mother Nature refused to cooperate.

The start of the event was delayed an hour on Saturday night due to a heavy shower earlier in the day. Despite the rain in the afternoon, race fans filled up North Alabama Speedway in anticipation of seeing some racing Saturday night.
