Eddie Stewart $2,500 AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals Victor at Richmond Raceway

Richmond, KY – August 19, 2017 – Richmond Raceway would present the 3rd Annual AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals on Saturday evening and Eddie Stewart of Manchester, KY would score the victory and the $2,500 payday. Other feature event winners included in Derek Fisher of Olympia, KY in Sonic Late Models, Jimmy Robinson of Richmond, KY in Eagle Financial Services Open Wheel Modifieds, and Jeremie Bretz of Maysville, KY in Baker Iron and Metal Stock Four Cylinders.

Eddie Stewart would make a clean sweep of the AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals event as he would be the top qualifier, win his heat, and pick up the $2,500 payday in the Super Stock Nationals main event. Jeremy Howard would finish second, with Bartley Grant claiming the final podium finishing position with a third. Kyle Moore and James Crowe completed the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers in the KDRA Super Stock Nationals would be Trae Soper, Faron Robinson, Junior Mason, Randy Jones, and Clarence Belcher.

Current Sonic Late Model division track points leader Derek Fisher would score another victory in the Late Model division as he would park his mount in victory lane at the conclusion of the main event. Jason Barrett would claim runner-up honors, while Connor Meade would finish in third. Jeff Watson would come home in fourth, while Josh Hall rounded out the top five finishers. Completing the top ten would be Jonathan Couch, A.J. Hicks, Chris Ruble, Gary Yeager, and Donnie Everman.

Former track champion Jimmy Robinson would claim the victory in the Eagle Financial Services Open Wheel Modified feature contest. Dennis Roberson and Tommy Carlton would finish in the second and third positions, while Jimmy Lennox, Jr. would charge from the rear of the field to finish fourth, with Zach Powers completing the top five. Rounding out the top ten finishers would be Brent Estes, Ricky Brandenburg, John Jackson, Oscar Marshall, and Wayne Helton.

Jeremie Bretz would once again visit victory lane by claiming the win the Baker Iron and Metal Stock Four Cylinder main event. Tyler Hayes would claim runner-up honors, while Shane Yates would score a third place finish. Brandon Creech and Tyler Lawson would complete the top five finishers. Clint Cox would head up the second five finishers, followed by Jeremy Porter, Jason Sizemore, Ashley Logan, and Eric Masters.
