I don't know that the pick-up points are the same, but I do know they are putting the Gen-X stub on Smackdowns now as a repair/upgrade.
Pickup points are not the same. IMO, the rack location is the most important part so bolting Gen X pieces on a Smack and fixing upper control arm locating points would not be worth the trouble.Quote:

I've tryed GENx ,smack ,and 07. I ended up with genx uppers and lowers and smack spindles

So what's the advantage/pros/cons for a Smackdown vs a Gen X?
