Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Week 3 Preview

ADAIRSVILLE, GA – The Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Sportsman Week 3 schedule of events will feature nine races. There will be two races on Friday night, and seven races on Saturday night.

Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, FL will have a Week 1 Make-Up Race for the Newsome Raceway Parts Late Model Sportsman Division this Friday night. They will return on Saturday night to host their regularly scheduled Week 3 race. Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will also be in action on both Friday night and Saturday night.

Newsome Raceway Parts Late Model Sportsman Division Week 3 Saturday night races are scheduled for Deep South Speedway in Loxley, AL, Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN, ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, and North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL.

Brett White of Kosciusko, MS, Ryan King of Anniston, AL, and Russ Brasel share the top of the Newsome Raceway Parts Late Model Sportsman National standings with 100 points apiece. Sam Ramsey is fourth with 98 points and Morgen Lambert of Booneville, MS is fifth with 97 points. Tony Chaney of Tuscumbia, AL is sixth with 96 points, and Blake Ray of Russellville is seventh with 95 points.

Tody Ratcliff of Meridian, MS is eighth with 94 points, while Zack Owens, Steve Pate and Ryan Wilson of Margaret, AL are tied for the ninth spot in the Newsome Raceway Parts Late Model Sportsman National standings with 93 points apiece.

Drivers in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Sportsman Division will compete for both a weekly point fund and a National point fund over a 22 Week season that runs through November 1. A driver will count his best 11 weekly point races for their National point total.
