cam recommendation

been a long time sense I've been on here, so bear with me... I have a stock crank 2.5 with 5.7 rods, solid lift cam (don't know the spec's) big valves with lash caps... lots of power from 3500 to 8200rpm...

I have put the motor in my street car and sold off all the racing equipment... what cam would anyone recommend for street use,... say 1500 rpm to 5 or 6000 rpm's.
the way it's set up now, it won't run well under 2500 /3000 rpms.

also should I swap out my spring loaded msd dist and go to a vac advance msd??
