Fan Appreciation This Saturday Night At Mountain View Raceway

SPRING CITY, TN – It’s Fan Appreciation Night this Saturday night at Mountain View Raceway. The Grandstand/Tier Parking General Admission ticket price is just $5 for race fans 12 and older, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. The first 100 kids under age 12 through the gate will receive Hot Wheels courtesy of Nacho Torres.

The racing program will feature point races for the Mountain View Raceway Late Model, Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, B-Hobby, Thunder and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions, with special appearances with the 4-Cylinder, and Sharp Mini Model Divisions. The Open-Wheel Modified and Dwarf Divisions will have the night off.

Jenny Davenport has been named the Kids Coordinator at Mountain View Raceway, and she will be developing Special Programs during the 2021 racing season that will get the kids involved with Saturday night activities that include face painting. In addition to being the Kids Coordinator, Ms. Davenport will also sing the National Anthem during Opening Ceremonies.

Drivers will be autographing frisbees with a Special Prize Certificate taped to them to throw to the kids at Intermission. A Kids Bike Race is scheduled for May 29. The Age Groups for the Bike Races will be announced soon. Kids can also enter a drawing on the Mountain View Raceway Facebook page to have the honor of waving the green flag over the first Feature Race of the evening.

Tabatha Hufstetler has been named the Mountain View Raceway Trophy Girl and will spice up the Post-Race activities in the Mountain View Raceway Victory Lane for winning drivers. The Kids will also have the opportunity to have their photo made with drivers and Ms. Hufstetler in Victory Lane.

On Saturday at Mountain View Raceway, the Pit Gate opens at 3 p.m., and the Grandstand/Tier Parking Gates opens at 4 p.m. Pre-Race Technical Inspection and Registration will be from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the Drivers Meeting is set for 5:45 p.m., with Racing scheduled for 6 p.m.

Pit Passes are $25 for Adults, $15 for Children 6-12, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. The Special Fan Appreciation General Admission and Tier Parking ticket prices are $5 for race fans 12 and older, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free.
