Dillon Wood Prepares for Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway

Daytona Beach, Florida (04/02/13) – Dillon Wood will take his #1w Keyser Manufacturing/Gotta Race/Rocket/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle this weekend with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Models in the Illini 100.

It's been over a month since Dillon Wood hit the track, and as a result he's chomping at the bit to invade Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) this weekend, April 5th-6th, for the annual running of the Illini 100. It will mark the first-ever event for the 22-year-old at the famed oval in the famed event. After a rough start to the year during Speedweeks the 2013 World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year candidate will be looking to make up points in the rookie and overall standings at the event.

"The Illini 100 is just one of those races that you always hear about, and as a driver you dream of racing in it," notes Wood. "I'm definitely pumped to head up there this weekend and try and make some noise."

The event begins with an open practice session on Thursday evening, while time trials and heat race action will be contested on Friday night.
