Happy New Year at Stockton

The Stockton (CA) Dirt Track opens 2021 on the first day of 2021. The challenging 4/10 track features the Tri State Pro Stock Challenge cars (us), A Mods, Sport Mods, Bombers and the B4 mini stocks. No Sprints or their many variations. Sorry CIRF but the Sprinters have an ambitious schedule the rest of the season if such happens.

Haven't got a clue what the track will be like but it's often rutty and/or bone slick. Weather has been temperamental the last couple weeks with warm and cold days and rain 2 days ago. Tony Noceti, the promoter, has worked hard to make this race happen and, hopefully, the car counts will be great as they usually are. Weather over the mountains in Nevada and Oregon may keep a few cars home as towing in a foot of snow is no fun.

For the many fans who can't be there the races will be on Flo. Start is set for 2 p.m. PST. Enjoy as we plan to.
