East Bay Crate Week

With car counts of 80 or so all week and some good racers from all over the place that was some pretty entertaining racing every night. Surprisingly few big incidents; Friday's 30 lap main went yellow free and last night's 50 lapper finale only had a few yellows, mostly for broken cars.

With the locals and the many who'd never been there it could have been a mess but wasn't. Not surprising was local Marc Whitener dominating 2 nights and nearly again last night till he got himself tangled up with a lapper only a few laps from the end and still managed a 4th. Kyle Bronson came from 26th to, I think, 3rd Saturday but that was the highlight of his week. Not a fan of his at all but that was a good drive.

Kyle Hardy, Virginia driver, ran well all week and finally got the $5K win Saturday and it was well deserved. Might not be the big names of Lucas or WOO but very enjoyable show and hats off to East Bay for putting it on.
