Lee And Davis 1-2 In CRUSA WRS Late Model Points Going Into Week 4

PERKINSTON, MS – Billy Riels Racing drivers Shannon Lee of Lumberton, MS and K.I. Davis of Poplarville, MS are first and second in the Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series National Late Model point standings going into Week 4 of the 27-week season. The two drivers are picking it up where they left off last season.

Lee is the three-time and defending CRUSA WRS National Late Model Champion and Davis was the National Championship Runner-Up in 2022. Car Owner Billy Riels is looking for his third straight and fifth National title. He has the three with Lee in 2019, 2021, and 2022, and his first was with Noah Daspit of Kiln, MS in 20213.

Lee has 99 points after a win last Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS and a second-place finish on March 31 to open the 2023 season at Baton Rouge Raceway in Baton Rouge, LA. Lee, the career leader in CRUSA WRS Late Model victories with 105 wins, is tied with Lee Bennett of Ethel, LA for the points lead.

Davis has 97 points after a second-place finish last Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway, and a third place showing on March 31 at Baton Rouge Raceway. Davis is tied with Chase Cooper of Perkinston, MS.

The Billy Riels Racing team will bring a pair of Lee Performance dirt late model for Lee, Davis, and to Hattiesburg Speedway this Friday night, and on Saturday night at Outlaw Speedway in Perkinston, MS for Week 4 CRUSA WRS Late Model competition.
