Riggs, Bretz, Gerrald, Coffman, and Perkins Take Checkered Flags at Ponderosa Speedway

Junction City, KY- July 29, 2017- Ponderosa Speedway would present Mod Lite Madness on Saturday evening at Ponderosa Speedway as the Mod Lites would make their first ever appearance at the track and Tyler Riggs would be victorious in the Mod Lite main event. Jeremie Bretz of Maysville, KY would score the $800 victory for the Stock Four Cylinders, while other feature event winners included Tripp Gerrald of Lexington, KY in Super Late Models, Todd Coffman of Junction City, KY in Pro (Crate) Late Models, and Robby Perkins of Ezel, KY in KDRA Super Stocks.

Tyler Riggs would score the $800 victory for the Mod Lite division in the tour’s first-ever to Ponderosa Speedway. Andy Sherley would finish second, with Cody Sisson finishing third. John Pitts and Keith Smith would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Mitch Ward, Cole Petrelle, Kenny Meadows, Micah Collins, and Alex Pitts.

The Stock Four Cylinder division would also be in action for $800 to win and Jeremie Bretz would see the checkered flag in the division’s feature contest. Andrew Parson would take runner-up honors, while Tyler Hayes would finish in the third position. Brandon Creech and James Ramey would round out the top five finishers. Completing the top ten would be Bill Grant, Brian Moore, Tyler Lawson, Gunner Johnson, and Byron Logsdon.

Tripp Gerrald would pick up yet another victory in the Super Late Model division in dominating fashion. Cody Rogers would finish in the second position, with Jonathan Couch claiming the third position. Shane Bailey and Ernie Cordier would complete the top five, with the remainder of the finishing order being Jeff Johnson, Tim Patrick, Donnie Sullivan, and Daniel Dial.

Todd Coffman would return to action at the track on Saturday evening and would pick up the win in the Pro (Crate) Late Model main event. Zane Powell and Jeff Watson would finish second and third respectively, while Gary Yeager and Keegan Cox would round out the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Elliott Despain, Wesley Brummett, A.J. Hicks, Derek Bottoms, and Timmy Taylor.

Robby Perkins would score the victory in the KDRA Super Stock main event. Eddie Stewart would finish in the runner-up slot, with James Crowe scoring a third-place finish. Jeremy Howard and Bartley Grant would complete the top five finishers. Tyler Collis would head up the second five finishers, followed by Terry Cheeks, Casey King, Matthew King, and Scott Hensley.
