Randy Wise Rolls to Four Cylinder Rumble Checkered Flag at Richmond Raceway

Richmond, KY- September 23, 2017 – Richmond Raceway would return to action on Saturday evening with the Four Cylinder Rumble presented by Quality Homes of KY for the Baker Iron and Metal Stock Four Cylinders and Randy Wise of Wilksville, OH would make his first-ever visit to the track and see the checkered flag first and claim the $1,200 victory. Other feature event winners included Derek Fisher of Olympia, KY in Sonic Late Models, Jimmy Robinson of Richmond, KY in Eagle Financial Services Open Wheel Modifieds, and Travis Preston of Berea, KY in AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks.

The Baker Iron and Metal Stock Four Cylinder division would see Randy Wise take the $1,200 to win Four Cylinder Rumble presented by Quality Homes of KY, with Eddie Stewart finishing in the second position, while Tyler Hayes would finish third. Chris Vance would come home with a fourth-place finish, with Shane Irvin completing the top five finishers. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Jeremy Porter, Tyler Lawson, Justin Dalton, Chris Shelton, and Travis (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)erson.

The Sonic Late Model feature event would see track’s points leader Derek Fisher score another feature event victory. Josh Rice would claim runner-up honors, while defending track champion Jason Barrett would finish in the third position. Jeff Watson and Dennis Roberson would round out the top five finishers. Completing the top ten finishers would be Chris Ruble, Jonathan Couch, Nicky Pennington, Ernie Cordier, and Shawn Martin.

Jimmy Robinson would park his mount in victory lane in the Eagle Financial Service Open Wheel Modified feature event. Jason Hollon and Dennis Roberson would finish second and third place respectively, while Jeff Watson would come with a fourth-place finish and Jimmy Lennox, Jr. would finish fifth. Brent Estes would head up the sixth through tenth place finishers, followed by David McWilliams, Zach Power, Tommy Carlton, and Tom Pribble.

Travis Preston would pick up the victory in the AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock feature contest. Eddie Stewart would finish in the second position, with Bartley Grant completing the podium finishers in third place. Tyler Collis and Chad Barrett would finish fourth and fifth. Rounding out the top ten finishers would be Jeremy Howard, Greg Hensley, Darrell Cain, Matthew King, and Darrell Baker.
