Runs fair, but not picking up a lot of wins.
So true at the big events
I believe only three drivers have more special event wins than Overton so far this year.
People think if you’re not winning every race, you’re struggling. Same thing with rocket1. Just shows how high the bar has been set by 76 and 1.
Everybody has caught up from last year. We see it year after year.

Look at this body/interior/deck. Completely legal you say? Guess he's 7 foot 6. Needs a tall cage.
Overton is #4 in earnings so far this year. Only behind Davenport Madden and Sheppard. He was ahead of Sheppard before the PDC.
Wasn't Davenport also accused of a big fall off after his first great year in, I think it was, 2015? The short memory social media folks seem to think that if every year isn't greater than the last that you're either a has been or a one hit wonder.
He had been doing some cherry pickin near home
I’ve never seen Overton come off as arrogant, entitled, or anything less than genuine. People gravitate to that. While he’s obviously dedicated to his craft, he doesn’t take himself too seriously and appears to be very approachable. He always speaks well of his car owners, crew, and sponsors, and it’s not canned rehearsed speech. Brandon sounds truly appreciative for everything he has, and most remember he used to be out touring on a shoestring with a bare bones team making the best of it. He’s paid his dues.
