FANSFund Roars Past $20K

New Richmond, WI (July 11, 2016): After a great weekend of fundraising the FANSFund has surpassed the $20,000 barrier. With just one week left for fan voting and with some additional sponsor dollars expected to come in we are within reach of our top end goal to invite 12 drivers to participate in this year’s FANSFund events. If we achieve this goal, 12 lucky drivers will be invited to participate in this year’s 12 lap FANSFund Dash and compete for a total purse exceeding $22,350 that will pay at least $2,500 to win and at least $1,500 to start. It’s crunch time and we need our Fans to rally behind us this last week of voting. If you haven’t donated and voted yet, you can go online at www.FANSFund.com/donations/ to make your donation and vote for your favorite driver. But don’t wait too long as voting ends July 17, 2016 at midnight.

As we go into the last week, voting typically heats up and we see a number of changes on the voting board. Brian Shirley of Chatham, IL still sits atop the leader board; Jon Henry of Ada, OH is in 2nd; young gun Gordy Gundaker of St Charles, MO has come out of nowhere to jump into 3rd; Tyler Bruening of Decorah, IA now sits 4th; and Jake O’Neil of Tucson, AZ rounds out the top 5. Jonathan Davenport, Jason Papich, Tim McCreadie, Chris Madden, Cody Mahoney, Joey Moriarty, and Ryan Unzicker currently make up positions 6th through 12th in the voting order. Once again Fans can still go online to donate and vote at www.FANSFund.com/donations/ or by clicking on the Donate tab from the home page. For every $5.00 donated fans receive 1 vote. For a $30.00 donation fans are eligible to attend the FANSFund Luncheon where they’ll receive a FANSFund T-shirt, be able to meet the FANSFund drivers and get their autographs, receive a nice lunch, and be eligible for other raffle prizes. The Luncheon will be held Saturday August 6th at 12:30 PM in the Cedar Lake Arena. Voting ends at midnight July 17, 2016 but donations will be accepted through August 4, 2016. After July 17th, donors will no longer be able to vote, or be eligible for the luncheon or T-shirt.
