Lavonia Speedway & Entertainment Complex set to host 3rd Annual "Late Model Mania" this weekend!!


(Carnesville, Georgia) - Lavonia Speedway is set to host the 3rd annual "Late Model Mania" event on March 6-7-8 with its 2015 season opener. Local and Regional teams as well as those of the "big boys" will be on hand to participate in what has become one of the Souths more noted events. In the previous years it has drawed a great turnout of drivers and fans from all over the Mid-Atlantic United States and this year's 3 day racing extravaganza is being widely prepared to be another exciting dirt track "blockbuster" not to miss at the 3/8th mile clay surface nestled a short drive off I-85 in Lavonia, Georgia.

Teams are set to be there from TN, GA, SC, NC, KY, VA, WV and PA making it 9 different states. The super late model portion of the event was won by Riley Hickman in 2013 and Casey Roberts in 2014. As the venue is about to change its start and race times, the race is anyone's at this point. Listed below is all the event details from day to day and the Grandstand/Pit admission prices for the 2015 edition of the 3rd Annual Late Model Mania. Lavonia Speedway & Entertainment Complex is a fast, 3/8 mile semi-banked clay oval located in Lavonia, Georgia. The storied speed plant commenced operation in 1971 and serves as a weekly facility, running on Friday nights from March into October sanctioned by the FASTRAK Racing Series.
