$750 TO WIN FOR DIRTcar Street Stocks 5/25 at the "Inaugural Kim Henderson Memorial"

Attention VCS UMP Street Stock and UMP Modified drivers:

The 2014 racing season is upon us at Vermilion County Speedway. As some of you may already be aware of, VCS was selected as one of few tracks to participate in the “Contingency Connection” contingency program. The program contains nearly $100,000 worth of product awards. There is a link at THEvermilioncountyspeedway.com that explains this in detail. As Street Stock and Modified drivers at VCS, here is what this will mean for you. There are 6 scheduled events to date at VCS in 2014 and possibly 1-2 dates we are working on. Your divisions will participate at all scheduled events and drivers in those divisions will be awarded points based on his or her finish at each event.

At the completion of all events, points will be tallied and awards will be given as follows:

Positions 1-12 in both UMP Street Stock and UMP Modified divisions will evenly split $48,000 of our contingency awards.

Each of the drivers finishing in those positions will receive a reward packet containing product vouchers from our sponsors valued at well over $2000.

VCS will also award trophies or plaques to the top 4 point finishers and acknowledge the track champion in each division.

To be eligible for these awards drivers must (1) Sign in as a driver at ALL 2014 VCS events, (2) Adhere to guidelines set by the Contingency Connection program.
