Good to see him back
Always like to see Jimmy winning.
Yay. O-show is back.
Reports I have read say Jimmy O and Tyler Erb won using Rocket chassis this year. Very interesting !
So you think a pile of steel tubing is why they won? LOL!
Rumor is swing arm left rear on Owen's hotrod. That'd explain him on chippy wet surface which isn't his best surface
14 speedweeks races.
Longhorn 8
Rocket 6
Considering how the Horns outnumber the Rockets, I'd say Rocket is doing ok.
So it's the conventional swing arm rr 4 bar lr?
Fox. Boom made mention Mark has been helping teams with the new shock and springs combo. That new horn house ride is struggling, they need a driver change, new motors and maybe a body remount. A lot of dead weight in that camp.
1) To me, a suspension is only swingarm if the coilover is mounted on the arm. I'm not 100% sure where his coilover is mounted. There is some different geometry on the rr.
2) my personal philosophy of what is right and wrong with these cars is that there is only 1 reason to run a 4 link on the rr and a lot more reasons not to.
I'll even go so far as to say the standard rr 4 link will eventually disappear.
Slow down there crazy4. The season hasn't even really got going and you're already to fire people. Lets see what they do the rest of the year. They passed more car than anyone else so far. To many good people and resources to keep them down. My opinion they put to much pressure on themselves to perform that they're probably over thinking things.
I was thinking the same thing. I wasn't sure the breakdown but, I knew they were holding their own. It's good for the sport to see what is playing out in the chassis world. I'm going to be curious as to what Bloomer comes out with once he gets going this year.
Swingarm as in off-road truck swing arm ?
