Tim Richmond passed away in 1989. I had the honor of watching Tim several times in a Winston Cup car. Tim was pure badass in everything he drove. He was rookie of the year at the Indy 500. He wasn't the least intimidated by arnhead and he was destined to win some Cup championships.
If only they had the medication c0cktail that is today controlling HIV complications back in Tim's day. What might have been......................

Saw him race at Riverside one year. He blasted through the esses(?) like no one else.
ESPN 30 for 30 was very interesting. Great driver. Oh yes.
