The place is in Ohio (what else would you expect) ?😜
Port Royal
Atomic
Learnerville
Wythe?
That place sucked last night makes me not ever want to go back there
Amen. Couldn't be more right. The format and the cars help nothing either. I was honestly very encouraged by the effort by the track crew and the amount of rubber was honestly minimal. Signal guys started putting everyone on the bottom at lap 50 and made sure it was rubbered by 60.
Everyone forgets that EB rubbers. It would be a disaster if you ran 100 laps.
Why does it have to be 100 laps. Are 100 lap races necessary anymore?
I like the 100 laps for big shows because it used to be about tire management but now there is less and less due to tire rules being implemented and everyone is running nearly the same compound. I wish that all of the big races were unsanctioned with open tire rules but unfortunately those days are long gone.
Copy that, wrong on my end. I’ll use Peoria alone then. While not a stellar track, way better racing than PRP. PRP would be better served to go back to the old 1/4 mile length and change the banking. JMO, but I’ve been watching races at PRP for about 20 years, and they have a definite rubber trend. I’d rather see the DTWC give Lawrenceburg another shot, move it to Florence, or cram it into I-77 or Ohio Valley and give the locals with smaller engines a chance. PRP has had its run, and has continually proven to be lacking.
Have the race at Eldora.
I’d be game for every big event to go 100 laps if everyone knew how to dial the track in like Florence. Black and smooth from top to bottom with no rubber. However I have seen Florence take rubber, but it has been rare.
T3r3e3, you can replace Davenport with I55 in Pevely, Mo. Place is under water more than it's above. Still has great racin.
