DII Midgets racing at Danny Bangert Memorial Fri Aug 5 @ Jacksonville

This Friday Night should be a really special night at Jacksonville Speedway as Tom Finch Automotive sponsors the Danny Bangert Memorial, with Midwest Big Ten Series DIRTcar UMP Super Late Models as the headliner. Generous friends and sponsors have contributed extra purse money for some of Friday's classes in honor of Danny. (Full Payout for Late Models, Modifieds and Street Stocks at bottom of this post)

Plus Bill West Enterprises is sponsoring a Dash for Cash paying $222 for the Late Models

Joining the Late Models are Modifieds, Street Stocks, Hornets and DII Midgets.

Grandstands open at 5:00, Hot Laps 6:20, Racing at 7:00.

Tom Finch Automotive has some cool stuff planned for this Friday's Darren Bangert Memorial. They will be handing out matchbox cars to the kids and then will have matchbox races at intermission with prizes for the top 3 kids.

Also, Tom Finch Automotive is putting an extra $122 to the Hornet feature winner making the total payout for the hornet winner $222.

Don't forget to stop by their store on Walnut to see the Firestone Indy Car and simulator today and tomorrow. It will be at the race track Friday night along with some other cool prizes.

We didn't want to have to post this but tonight's Danny Bangert Memorial featuring Midwest Big Ten Series DIRTcar UMP Super Late Models is canceled. Tommy has been busting his tail to try and get the grounds to dry out but after multiple attempts at lillying, the track is still too soupy and the tractor sliding down the surface. Humidity and lack of sun didn't help with the over inch of rain we received early this morning. We waited as long as possible before teams would roll out tonight.
