Quality driver in quality equipment... Makes sence.
O’Neal was lapped before halfway how the he!! did he win tonight’s race.
He also went into the pits and didn't have to restart at the tail. Whatever rule that lets that happen is just plain stupid.
lucky 🐕.........
Oh no Lucrapus using the lucky dog. I wondered why people were losing their minds. A rule is a rule at least they didn't invent a new rule on the fly. Hudson won under the current rules but, In my opinion they need to get rid of the lucky dog rule.
Everybody wanted to see EPJ win that race. As he said, he himself has won with those same rules in place. I'm hoping that team carries on next year because EPJ will be a threat to win. All those years in that pc of garbage, a shame as talented as he is.
Earl won the dirt two hundread thousand at Mansfield by taking advantage of the lucky dog rule.
He earned it. Every car he passed coming from the tail except 1 has won on the national stage. Earl didn't pass anyone. Matter of fact, he lost a spot...
He passed a hell of a lot more cars and was way better at the end. The stupid rule has been here as long as a lot of other problems with the sport. Bringing the caution out to make adjustments is dumb too, but he had the awareness to do it and the knowledge to tell the crew to make the correct adjustment. He definitely earned it under the framework of what a Lucas-sponsored racing exhibition is.
^^^ exactly ^^^
Have to agree with what Mastersbuilt said. After using the rules to his advantage and making that shock adjustment to help him drive thru the field. I think it will be interesting to see if more teams don't start to move in that direction for 100 lap shows.
The hypocritical part of this whole thread is how for the last 5 years or more epj has been in the pits during every yellow of pretty much every 100 lap race. Like masters said hud did nothing wrong under the rules. My only gripe of the whole deal is bringing out the caution to pit but it's impossible to stop it because it's a tough line to draw they did the best they could by taking away courtesy laps
