I meant the front springs

Are these cars running STOCK mounted shocks in STOCK location?
If yes how are you not running out of shock travel?
With a 12" front spring with stock mounted shocks, we bottom out bad enough to bend the shock tabs or bend a lower.
There are no binds, 53% LS 51.2 rear 125 bite with 1200 rf 1100 lf 250 lr 200 rr
12 inch is too tall? should i cut some off? cant run jack bolts.
Good shocks a critical when running softer springs. Good condition shocks control how fast the weight is transferred; a bad compression shock on the RF will bottom out a 1000 spring. As Jeff said the softer springs on the front help control the rear bite in the corner and, helping transfer weight to the rear out of the corner.
Cutting the spring will increase the weight of the spring. If you have to cut it, get it rated.
I run the rf soft with a 10.5 800 lbs spring a guy n 1 of my cars said it was 2 soft so he went 2 10.5 1200 lbs spring & on had 1" of less travle then my 800 did his didnt rotate as good as mine so he went back lol
Just curious, if you run the RF softer, do you also run the RR softer than the LR? We currently have 1200LF and 1300 RF and 225 LR 175 RR. With this setup the car is great through the turns but we could use more drive off. Do you think going with softer springs up front and switching the softer one to the right side will help with drive off the corner without killing the performance through the middle. The track we run is a fast 5/8th mile that has wide semi-banked turns. Thanks
Just wondering what kind of ride heights you all set at...?
