Basic Crate Late Model Setup

The Guy I help traded a Mod for a Late model (2014 Mastersbilt) and we are trying Crate Late racing for the first time. First Late Model. Car needs body and some deck. While it is stripped down this off season for that, Should we move any of the "heavy" components around to make using the Crate motor easier to get the car to handle better ? We have been told, Low HP motors make the Cars , Tight, Tight, Tight... you are always trying to loosen them up.... We know enough about dirt racing to know that if the basic numbers " left side %, Rear %", etc are not correct, twisting on corner weights is a band aid fix for handling issues... moving weight up , down, side to side and front to back or back to front are the only way to make it better overall..... should we be looking at moving anything around while we have the chance? ( easy to get to it now, no body and deck)... thanks ahead of time....
